The Everyday Me
Todd is a Christian, a husband, a father, a “pop,” an athlete, a retired naval officer, and a coach.
He believes his ability to build meaningful relationships is the key to his success.
Todd and his wife, Amy, live in Middle Tennessee with their two dogs, Millie and Beck. Their two children are grown and living their best lives.
Professionalism and Experience
Todd spent 30 years serving in the United States Navy. He started his career as an enlisted submarine sailor and enjoyed success earning the rank of chief petty officer before being selected for a commission as a supply officer through the Limited Duty Officer program. Later, Todd was selected for conversion to be a human resources officer, and he retired as the Commanding Officer of Navy Recruiting District Nashville. He jokes that he had three 10-year careers during his time in uniform.
Following his career in the Navy, Todd gained corporate HR and executive experience as HR Manager of a professional services company and CEO of an online learning start-up. Additionally, he has worked as an HR and leadership consultant.
He has 30 years of leadership experience and over 10 years of executive HR experience.
His coaching practice grew out of his calling to help make people better. Todd has coached business owners, executives, entrepreneurs, military officers, and clergy.
His coined leadership quote is, “Leadership without love is simply barking orders”
Education and Certifications
Todd holds an undergraduate degree from Governors State University, a master’s degree from Troy University, and has completed 140 hours of coach training.
